When he sings, "I live the thug life, like baby I'm hopeless." He is aware that there are two different types of people who listen to his music. One person can simply enjoy how the lyric sounds but
Tupac confesses that through his media of making and sharing his story vis songs he is "doing it for the kids who really live the thug life and really feel hopeless."
Tupac's response to people who enjoy his music but do not relate to his experience is that if he can reach the one kid who can relate to his hopelessness then he feels he is doing good for his community.
Despite the fact that Tupac's life may seem glorious in his lyrics, he recognizes who he is reaching is out of his control.
Tupac sees his music as a means of communication for the kids are connecting to his story because he believes when a kid listens to his music a conversation is exchanged between the two of them.

Tupac at Coachella
During Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre's set at Coachella in 2012 they decided to project Tupac's hologram to perform. Tupac's holgram performed "Hail Mary" and 1996 hit collaboration with Snoop, "2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted." His legacy lives on as he shouted, "What the fuck is up, Coachella."
